About NEU
Near East University is a central educational village in the center of Cyprus, which was at the fore in building the first colleges in Cyprus. The Faculty of Medicine is the only medical faculty in Turkish Cyprus.
The Near East University was established in 1988, located in Nicosia, the capital of Northern Cyprus, employs a highly qualified staff and is an educational institution with world-class distinctions, providing highly qualified educational opportunities for undergraduate and master's students to more than 26,000 students from more than 100 countries. Near East University has 16 colleges consisting of 220 departments and branches, professional institutes for more than 200 master's and doctoral programs, 4 institutes, 28 research centers, and has membership in many international associations. The university has full membership in the European University Association EUA and the International Association of Universities IAU and is a member of UNESCO, the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP), the Joint Commission International (JCI), a member of The Federation of Islamic Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW), a member of 118 international and institutional world institutes and many associated memberships in many franchises in other programs.

Documents required for undergraduate students
- A copy of the high school diploma and transcript (mark sheets).
- One passport size photo
- Copy of passport (related page) or birth certificate
- A copy of proof of English language proficiency, if available
Notice An English translation of these documents is necessary if they are in any language other than English
- An official transcript of all university-level courses (Bachelor/Master’s). Comparative grades/marks table if the transcript's CGPA is not outside 4.00.
- Certified copies of diplomas received from a university or equivalent institution (i.e. 4-year Bachelor’s degree study). An English translation of these documents is necessary if they are in any language other than English.
- Documentation of scores obtained in academic English language proficiency tests/tests. This is not valid for programs where the language of instruction is Turkish. Native speakers must indicate place of birth and citizenship. All others must submit documents for any of the following English language proficiency tests.
